 Sometimes the inner child is of another gender,

 And to pretend her out of your life is so sad.

 Saying all the while, all the years with all the tears,

 That you don’t really care because you truly fear.

 What others say, what they think, so you hide your pink,

 Clothes, pink bows, minding your own business all the time.

 Shutting down, playing the clown but only at Christmas,

 Then you find a Haylee, barely in time and flee the fear.

 And share, tell her your care, let the inside out.

Oh dear! We can’t live in fear!
